Over the past 17 years, my design path has woven through various sectors, oscillating from hospitality amenity spaces, corporate commercial interiors, workplace design + strategy, to ground-up broadcast studios, and multi-family developments, integrating holistic design, specification and procurement throughout. From sharing one-of-a kind high-end residential expressions, to developing historical country clubs + non-profit civic destinations, my design journey has allowed me to experience unique perspectives, through a fine-tuned lens.
What Inspires You?
This is such a loaded question. Ultimately, I derive inspiration from all facets of creation – art, music, fashion, science, nature and on. It seems the common thread behind all of these sources, underlies the concept of “connection.” When encompassed in a space or installation, or hearing of a story that sparks emotion + empathy, provoking an immersive experience for the user – it lights a fire within me to extend this feeling to others, through intentionally crafted spaces and curiosities. I thrive on understanding the purpose, driving the outcomes.
Our complex universe is fascinating, the idea of scale on an infinite basis, outreaches what we could even fathom. By unraveling the layers, composing the whole, we learn about the “why” behind each design, artwork, object, allowing a platform for understanding and connection.
In 2023, circumstances led me to develop a lifelong dream of establishing my own company, “Concept Balance” – a platform for both design services, along with curated products + art. I am honored to continue my journey and would love for you to join me in establishing my personal, “Why” of…
